Dear Classmate,
Believe it or not, the year 2011 marks our 45th year of graduation. Plans have been made to make this a memorable occasion for those of us who were fortunate to be a member of the Thomas Jefferson High School Class of '66.
• A pre-reunion get together will take place Friday, August 12 from 6:00-10:00 pm at Larry's French Market, 3701 Pure Atlantic Road. The cost of this is not included in your ticket. There is a cover charge.
• A social and dance is planned for Saturday, August 13 from 7:00 pm until midnight at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 6621 West Port Arthur Road in Port Acres. Food will be provided. Beer and set ups will be available for purchase. BYOB (you can bring liquor, wine but no beer).
• Since it was enjoyed by all that attended before, you will have the opportunity to visit the Museum of the Gulf Coast on Saturday, August 13 from 1:00-3:00 pm at 700 Procter Street in Port Arthur.
• There will also be a breakfast buffet on Sunday, August 14 from 8:00 until 10:00 am at the Central Mall Luby's Cafeteria, corner of Highway 73 and Highway 365.
• The cost for the reunion, museum and breakfast buffet is $45 in advance or $50 at the door.
For those needing hotel accommodations, arrangements have been made with the Holiday Inn Park Central. If you register under the Class of '66, your room rate will be $85 plus tax. The number for their reservations is 409-724-5000.
If you know of anyone who has not been contacted in the past or has changed his or her address, please send us the information. A memorial in honor of our deceased classmates will be presented. Any information you have regarding this would be helpful.
Please fill out this questionnaire and return it with your money as quickly as possible. Your reunion and breakfast tickets will be held for you at the door. If you are unable to attend, please return the questionnaire for our reunion booklet. All booklets not picked up at the reunion will be mailed. Your questionnaire must be received no later than July 15.
